The Oakley O-LAB

The Oakley O-LAB

The end of 2011 brought us a lot of really big and fun projects. One of the major highlights was the Oakley O-LAB.
Ink Monstr was hired to remove the old graphics (inside and outside), print new graphics, and then install them. The O-LAB consists of a super pimped out Sport Chasis by Freight Liner, a 35 foot trailer with pop-outs and a custom “athlete chill zone” on the inside, and a 45 foot RV with pop-outs and a “james bond” looking product test lab on the inside.

This is a very impressive set-up!!!

Oakley is the official eye wear sponsor of the Olympics, so their design was based on promoting the upcoming games. The Sport Chasis, however, got all matte black with spot graphics in gloss black. Turned out very cool!
Check out the gallery and keep your eyes peeled for this caravan of utility vehicles this spring and summer traveling across the country.

  1. Reed and the entire Ink Monstr crew…

You guys SMASHED this project! The Oakley Lab looks amazing and represents our brand exactly as we would like.

What you guys should appreciate is not only will athletes be doing PR and Media activations inside here, but THOUSANDS of consumers will be given technology tours inside this Lab in 2012. The Lab will also travel to markets as far north as Idaho/Montana and as far south as Texas. That’s a lot of eyes in your work and our images.

    Thanks for everything!
