BC Surf and Sport is opening a brand new location at the Flatirons Mall in Broomfield Colorado. As BC Surf and Sports preferred print and install partner, Ink Monstr was hired to do several new wall graphics and installations. The first round of installs happened two weeks ago, and included full size 12ft by 12ft wall graphics for Volcom, Never Summer, and Burton.

There is not much out there that is cooler then a matte black GT3. When a matte vinyl wrap is done right it looks like a paint job. Check out the photos below for some of the detail work done on this Porche. The client drove down from Crested Butte for the weekend to get his baby wrapped matte black. Summer is coming fast and the crew over at Icelantic are making sure that they are ready. To promote their new Ski Boot line, “Strom Tropper”, they have wrapped one of their team boats to ride around in style this summer. The dark graphics are going to look very nice out on the lake! Excited to join them!!!

Ram Jack is a Denver based company that specializes in foundation repair. Their line of work requires some pretty heavy duty equipment so naturally they need a pretty serious rig to haul everything. They recently approached Ink Monstr to get their truck and trailer wrapped for upcoming season. Check out the photos below!
Tommy’s is one the biggest and best boat and wake board shops in Colorado. With the launch of their new branding in 2012, Tommy’s needed a new lightbox sign for the front of their store. Ink Monstr made two 60″ x 120″ plexiglass panels with transparent vinyl prints that were installed into their front street sign. That way the logo can be vibrant and strong during the day, and glow at night. The panels were installed by the our crew with a boom lift.
Last fall, Sales and Marketing Manager, Rustin Coburn, got a new 2012 Jetta, and wanted to do something very unique to showcase Ink Monstr’s vehicle wrapping skills, as well as its in-house design talents. So he began working with lead designer Nick Hughes on a one-of-kind art piece that could translate into a vehicle wrap.
For over a month, on Hughes’ spare time, he started sketching and creating a dark midnight landscape of mountains and forests, with an underground scene connecting the whole story. When it was finally completed the team started printing color samples until everything looked perfect. The owner of Ink Monstr, Reed Silberman, decided to take on the application of the vinyl himself. The extra attention to detail from both Hughes and Silberman really paid off, and the finished product is a beautiful one of a kind vehicle wrap that was 100% done in-house at Ink Monstr. Dark and subtle in the nighttime hours, while it is vibrant and bursting with color in the sunlight.

With all this warm weather we can’t help but get excited about dusting off our bikes and hitting the streets. Ink Monstr recently wrapped this Throwback Mt. Dew Bike, designed by Motive Agency. Projects like this require an extremely high attention to detail, which make them some of our favorites. Check out the snapshots below!

This project was brought to Ink Monstr by Motive Agency a few months back as part of a nation wide campaign for Sierra Mist. This project came at one of busiest times of the year, but we were excited about the challenge of wrapping the entire fleet of Ford Flex’s amongst a full work load. We couldn’t be happier with the result… we were able to turn the project around quickly while maintaining our high quality standard. While there are only three of the vehicles in the photos below, there was a total of five Ford Flex’s that were wrapped.

This 2012 Ford F150 truck is one of the newiest additions to the Ink Monstr family. Maybe it’s the bold contrast or the playful “coloring book feel”, but this wrap has proven itself to be a head turner.
Keeping true to Ink Monstr’s attention to detail, Reed wrapped every nook and cranny of this bad boy. Even adding perforated white vinyl on the lights to maintain the black and white color pallet. We finished it with a few matte black vinyl overlays and some Ink Monstr logos. Even the grill was wrapped in matte black… boom! Check out the photos below for a closer look.

As you may have seen on NBC, the annual Red Bull ski competition titled “Cold Rush” was just aired on national television. Each year, Red Bull brings some of the best skiers in the world down to Silverton, CO in March and puts on an amazing back country competition filled with hugh jumps, cliffs, and steep lines.
Red Bull hired their trusty friends over at Ink Monstr to wrap the aircraft again, and steeze out the official Red Bull Helicopter for the event. With a collaborative effort on the design, and utilizing the help of our trusted and best installers, Ink Monstr and crew completed this in flying colors.

Designers Ryan Lee and Eric Wedum were hired by The Ghost restaurant, to create a three dimensional display of an old fashion bar back. Lee came over to Ink Monstr to help bring this project to life. The finished product is two layers of shape cut 1/4″ plexi with UV spot printing, mounted to a plastic base. The graphics wrapping over the center wood column (high performance 3M vinyl) really help tie the three dimensional bottle graphics together.
With everything finished and put in place, it creates a very impressive and custom back drop for the restaurants bar. If you have a custom project you want help with, feel free to contact us any time.
The Ink Monstr crew put in a lot of special care to this van wrap for Volcom. Extra shape cut graphics creep onto the windows, and the tail lights are covered with white perforated vinyl. This was a very satisfying project, and we love working with the local crew over at Volcom. They did a great job with the design on this van wrap too.

With all the warm weather we’ve been getting, nothing sounds better than a big cup of froyo! Lucky for Denver a new shop just opened in the Highlands, called Ziggy’s Frozen Yogurt! Ink Monstr recently installed this window wrap and branded decals for Ziggy’s to make their store front pop.
Gotta say that their spot looks pretty shnazzy! Stop by and help welcome them to the neighborhood! (1553 Platte St. Ste 105)

Specialty projects are what Ink Monstr thrives on! So when local Marketing and Business Consultant Mike Sparkman asked if we would wrap his 2004 Mercedes e55 all matte black we were very excited to accept the challenge. One of the very unique things about this particular job is that all the door frames, and door jams were also wrapped black. So we turned a silver Benz into the most beautiful tricked out matte black vehicle in Colorado.
