Talk about a serious road trip… John and Eric Jackson are about a month into a 15,000 mile journey, driving from Alaska to the southern tip of Chile.  Along the way they’ll be snowboarding, surfing and fishing with some of the world’s gnarliset action sports stars, all while raising money for charity.

As you may have seen on NBC, the annual Red Bull ski competition titled “Cold Rush” was just aired on national television. Each year, Red Bull brings some of the best skiers in the world down to Silverton, CO in March and puts on an amazing back country competition filled with hugh jumps, cliffs, and steep lines.

Red Bull hired their trusty friends over at Ink Monstr to wrap the aircraft again, and steeze out the official Red Bull Helicopter for the event. With a collaborative effort on the design, and utilizing the help of our trusted and best installers, Ink Monstr and crew completed this in flying colors.

Check out the video by 611 Productions, and the photo gallery for more.

Special thanks:

A couple of months back our favorite Burton rep asked us to print some banners and stickers for a very special event… Kevin Pearce’s first day back on a snowboard. We were excited to have a small part in this because the snowboard community and Kevin are both near and dear to our hearts.

These are the kind of projects that we absolutely love working on because they mean so much to the people involved. Above you’ll find a video from Kevin’s first day riding again. We hope you find it as inspiring as we did!

Westword (arguably the best magazine in Denver) holds a huge annual art and music festival known as Artopia. For the last four years, they have hired Ink Monstr’s Rustin Coburn to produce their fashion show performance. Starting last year, Coburn brought in the talented Abella Bala to co-produce the show and together they helped Westword turn the fashion show into a huge performance that has pulled in over 1,200 people each of the last two years. The venue chosen for this fashion experience is the three story City Hall, on 11th and Broadway in Denver.

Each year, Rustin Coburn and Abella Bala bring in a film crew to produce a video that tells the story of the shows theme and is used as the introduction into the fashion performance. This year, they joined forces with the talented Focus 4 Design to bring you the DARK CITY GLOW.

Check out the video and enjoy!

Interactive Redman Video

If you were at Ink Monstr’s “FREE 4 ALL Vol. 2″ on Friday night then you know just how crazy and epic of an evening it was. If you weren’t…. well try and come earlier next year, as the 1,200 venue (Exdo’s The Hall) was packed by 10pm. With an all-star cast of sponsors including; Red Bull, Smith, 42 Below, Bacardi, Progresh, Pabst, Voluerz, Avery Brewing, CLVR, and 611 Productions we had the perfect collaboration to make a super epic event for the SIA 2012 weekend.

Free to enter and free to drink all night, the place became a massive party very quickly. Opening performances by DJ Low Key, Whygee, BrickAbrak, and Gypdahip got the crowd amped up and excited. After a little bit of craziness getting him there, Redman walked onto the stage and burned the place down. So much energy on stage! An amazing performance and a crazy-amazing night.

Check out the special event video, filmed and edited by 611 Productions.
Then CLVR , utilized their brand new technology to make the entire thing interactive for viewers.
Just look for when the HAND symbol pops up… and you can click the video and interact.
Enjoy!!!

Red Bull and Ink Monstr have been working together for years now. This year Red Bull held a very special event at Silverton Mtn… the back country mecca of Colorado. With the event titled Gold Rush, it was a premier backcountry contest for the best skiers in the world.

Red Bull hired Ink Monstr to design and complete this wrap a week before the contest. Watch the video to see a cool little time lapse of the wrap.

Ink Monstr has started planning for this years SIA party, and we got some exciting things in the works.
A few days ago we stumbled upon this video from two years ago when Del (the Funky Homosapien) played at the Ink Monstr warehouse for the “Funk For Free” party. This was back in the day when we had space to put on parties. The business of making stickers, heat transfers, banners, vehicle wraps and more has expanded… so now we throw our parties at other venues. Which means they can be even bigger and better.

Keep your eyes and ears to the ground to hear more about our party plans for SIA 2012.
In the mean time enjoy this video recap from Ink Monstr’s SIA Party 2010….”Funk For Free”

The snow is falling and the leaves have changed. Loveland ski resort got 20″ of fresh snow this week.
Winter is on and we are loving it. Most of us have gotten a few days on the mountain, which is pretty sweet since it is not even Halloween yet.
When we can escape from Ink Monstr’s busy work schedule, we like to have fun!
This summer we spent our Saturday’s at the Burnsley Hotel in downtown Denver with our friends at PBR and Voleurz.
So while Summer is over, having fun is not.

Check out the video, remember summer, then go play in the snow!!!

Ink Monstr has built a reputation for their creative events and high quality stickers.
On September 24th of this year, they combined these two worlds to bring an innovative artshow to the people of Denver.

For a month artists submitted work, and then the top 19 were chosen to have their work displayed as huge stickers on brick walls.
SoBe Studios co-sponsored this event and we received amazing support from Pabst Blue Ribbon, 42 Below Vodka, Bacardi, Mile High Auto Sports, WhyGee, and London Dungeon.

The crew at Ink Monstr is ready to help with your custom projects.
When the creative people down at Motive Agency (http://www.thinkmotive.com/) heard that we can wrap just about anything they started to think way outside the box, and then back inside the box.

One of the new campaigns they activated this summer “Back By PopularDEWmand” had Ink Monstr wrapping these plastic boxes and turning them into 3-dimensional puzzles. They were then used as individual prizes stuffed with goodies like ipod’s and t-shirts.
Check out the fun little video that Six Eleven did for us to showcase the project.

The Voleurz Family headed out  from Canada to Colorado on an RV adventure to hit up the slopes. Along the way they stopped by Ink Monstr and had their RV wrapped. They also added a new member to the gang- Jack Black.

Ink Monstr, Ralph Schomp Mini, and Fay Meyers present the Free 4 All Party. The night kicked off with Whygee playing an amazing set and tons of free drinks along with art instillations from Pirate Productions, So Gnar, and Electric Coffin. Unfortunately it got a little too crazy and the Denver Police had to shut down the party. So everyone packed up and headed to The Rex for an unforgettable performance by the world famous Beatnuts at the last second. Thanks to everyone that made it out and stuck through the madness. – Six Eleven Productions

This crew hit up Silverton for a month and got some awesome footage. You know you’re riding when your breaking boards!

Reed took a leap of faith by moving to Denver, Colorado. His journey has lead him down the path to success–but not without some hardships and determination. “Find something you love and go for it…the financial stuff will take care of itself.” says Reed. Ink Monstr has been his dream come true, but he is not stopping. He continues to drive the company to the next level.
