Last fall, Sales and Marketing Manager, Rustin Coburn, got a new 2012 Jetta, and wanted to do something very unique to showcase Ink Monstr’s vehicle wrapping skills, as well as its in-house design talents. So he began working with lead designer Nick Hughes on a one-of-kind art piece that could translate into a vehicle wrap.
For over a month, on Hughes’ spare time, he started sketching and creating a dark midnight landscape of mountains and forests, with an underground scene connecting the whole story. When it was finally completed the team started printing color samples until everything looked perfect. The owner of Ink Monstr, Reed Silberman, decided to take on the application of the vinyl himself. The extra attention to detail from both Hughes and Silberman really paid off, and the finished product is a beautiful one of a kind vehicle wrap that was 100% done in-house at Ink Monstr. Dark and subtle in the nighttime hours, while it is vibrant and bursting with color in the sunlight.

Westword (arguably the best magazine in Denver) holds a huge annual art and music festival known as Artopia. For the last four years, they have hired Ink Monstr’s Rustin Coburn to produce their fashion show performance. Starting last year, Coburn brought in the talented Abella Bala to co-produce the show and together they helped Westword turn the fashion show into a huge performance that has pulled in over 1,200 people each of the last two years. The venue chosen for this fashion experience is the three story City Hall, on 11th and Broadway in Denver.
Each year, Rustin Coburn and Abella Bala bring in a film crew to produce a video that tells the story of the shows theme and is used as the introduction into the fashion performance. This year, they joined forces with the talented Focus 4 Design to bring you the DARK CITY GLOW.
Check out the video and enjoy!
The SixEleven Productions crew are hands down some of the hardest working and nicest fellows we know. While reorganizing some portfolio pics the other day we stumbled upon this little gem. The letter came from a kiddo named McKinnley requesting some Honey Badger stickers last fall. Of course we were more than happy to oblige the little shredder ‘s request and send some stickers via the good ol USPS.
Want some Ink Monstr stickers? Send us a super cute letter & a pre-stamped envelope like this one and you might just get lucky!
Our very talented designer, Nick Hughes, was asked by Pabst Blue Ribbon to design a Bowling Pin for the Marion Street Tattoo art show in Denver Colorado.
So what better way to showcase Nick’s amazing talents, combined with Ink Monstr’s wrapping capabilities, then to design something in Illustrator, print it onto vinyl, and then wrap it?
Nick did an amazing job with this design. Reed Silberman did the honors of wrapping the bowling pin. Turned out pretty good I think !!!

If you were at Ink Monstr’s “FREE 4 ALL Vol. 2″ on Friday night then you know just how crazy and epic of an evening it was. If you weren’t…. well try and come earlier next year, as the 1,200 venue (Exdo’s The Hall) was packed by 10pm. With an all-star cast of sponsors including; Red Bull, Smith, 42 Below, Bacardi, Progresh, Pabst, Voluerz, Avery Brewing, CLVR, and 611 Productions we had the perfect collaboration to make a super epic event for the SIA 2012 weekend.
Free to enter and free to drink all night, the place became a massive party very quickly. Opening performances by DJ Low Key, Whygee, BrickAbrak, and Gypdahip got the crowd amped up and excited. After a little bit of craziness getting him there, Redman walked onto the stage and burned the place down. So much energy on stage! An amazing performance and a crazy-amazing night.
Check out the special event video, filmed and edited by 611 Productions.
Then CLVR , utilized their brand new technology to make the entire thing interactive for viewers.
Just look for when the HAND symbol pops up… and you can click the video and interact.
Enjoy!!!
