Backyard Park Sesh

On Saturday June 12th, Pat Milbery, the So-Gnar Monster, along with the Fehrle Family hosted the 1st Backyard Session of the 2010. There was a great turnout of local rippers, the Channel 9 News Team showed up to cover the event. Great summer times in Denver, Colorado. This edit was done by Steve Cummings, with many more to come. Big thanks to the Fehrle Family for hosting and providing an outlet for their community of local riders.

Mighty Midwest Tour Stops at Echo
February, 7th, 2010

On the 13th and 14th of February, Echo Mountain is hosting the final stop of the Mighty Midwest Tour in a partnership with the Chill Snowboard Program. The Tour expands the local riding community by providing professional coaching. The coaches, including Tour Organizer and local pro snowboarder Pat Milbery, help the campers progress through a positive riding environment on approachable features. The first day builds the riders’ confidence through a full day of coaching and the second day gives the riders an opportunity to apply those skills in an low key jam format contest.

Echo and Mighty Midwest Tour are putting all of the proceeds toward Chill, a non-profit that takes disadvantaged and at risk youth snowboarding. Chill provides Denver youth with all the gear, tickets, instructors, and transportation to get to Echo and learn to ride. Through riding the youth learn life skills and self esteem while spending time outdoors.

Del & Bukue One

In conjunction with the Mighty Midwest Snowboard Camp Tour, Skullcandy and Funk for Free, this past weekend Del and Bukue One played at the Ware-home, in Denver. From a collective design/print studio by day to club venue by night…wow, what an experience. You know it's gonna be a party when it takes all day for the lighting and sound crew to set up. Redbull-Svedka Vodka's and PBR's kept everyone going until 5am. Del and Bukue One combined played over 2 and 1/2 hours with some new songs, and of course all the classics. RZA from Wu-tang made a pit stop to check out the show after he played for the Snowboard Mag party earlier that night. A big thanks goes to DJ Musa and Bitwise for opening, and Del and Bukue One for putting on such a rad show. as well as a huge thanks goes to everyone who helped make this event possible. Skullcandy, The Mighty Midwest Snowboard Tour, Inkmonstr, So-Gnar, Arnette, PBR, Redbull, Spacecraft, POW Gloves, Old Larimer St Tattoo, Snowboard-Mag, Phil Reynolds and his lighting and sound crew, you killed it, and everyone that lives at the warehouse! Thanks.
