One week a year, Colorado based startups gather for inspiration, tips and tricks and networking to take their businesses to the next level. That week occurred the last week of September all over downtown Denver and we couldn’t be more excited to have been a partner with the biggest startup celebration in the country! When the numbers came in and over 18,000 attendees attended panels and met over coffee at Denver Startup Week’s Chase Base Camp. With so many entrepreneurs and creative minds gathered, it’s no surprise that they found many great applications for temporary installs to promote the big event. Banners may typically be the first thought when it comes to event marketing, but read on for even more applications that will take your week from an event to an experience.
After 3 days of rain and pedestrians walking all over them, these vinyls still provide a perfect sense of direction.
Base camp for this year is a bit off the beaten path- so Denver Startup week made the path more obvious to follow. 3M’s 180CV3 vinyl is the best choice for the textured surface of the sidewalks and it prints with vivid colors to stand out, no matter how rainy and dreary it is outside. Without any slipping or shifting despite Denver’s drizzly weather, over a dozen of these can be found on the sidewalks of downtown Denver. Lastly, these meet the city’s standard of not leaving a mark post-event (sorry for blocking sidewalk traffic next week for removal!).
So many vinyl uses in one image. There’s no question once you’ve arrived at Base Camp, yet it is all tasteful, clean and casually highlights the event’s presenting sponsor. From the ground-up (literally) every surface boasts a clean presentation of the event:
- Add visual levels to your event by adhering vinyl to stairs and displaying a clean message.
- Move up 4 feet and wrap the windows with hashtags and sponsor messages- without blocking the views of downtown.
- 13oz banner states it loud and proud that you’ve arrived! The 20+’ prospector mascot also helps.
- Just above the doors, a sign permanent enough to survive the fall rains, but temporary enough to be removed once the week long event comes to an end.
- We’re not done! Just as attendees reach for the door handle, another subtle reminder of who made the entire event possible and the hours of operation.
Just in case someone doesn’t approach from the front, use your building as temporary billboard space to grab attention from all angles. Flat surface or brick- we can make temporary signage stick.
Chase Base Camp cannot be contained to just one building.
Denver Startup Week believes in the “business in the front, party in the back” mantra, because business isn’t just about panels and trading business cards. Their outdoor event space is set against the beautiful backdrop of the Denver Performing Arts Complex and it’s expansive green lawn with a short walk from the main Base Camp. The evening event space will host the lighter side of networking- where the drinks will be flowing and plenty of selfies and group photos will be taken to celebrate wins and new connections. There’s no mistaking which hashtag to use so attendees can be included in social sharing.
Mesh vinyl is the perfect outdoor banner for delivering a message while not creating a large sail out of your materials. Stream a message or create a large eye-catching banner to bring people in from a distance. Then, complete the look with moveable banners to guide attendees to key points of the event space.
Denver Startup Week runs through Friday, be sure to register here to attend!
These are only a few of the applications for vinyl- imagine what they can do indoors as well! For a multi-day event that needs a professional edge, consider vinyl as your on-site message delivery method. Questions about abilities and ideas you may have? Contact us here.
